Site redesign, new track, and a new project announcement - [ 07.27.11 ]

Having not been updated in quite some time, the site has been given a major refresh.

Additionally, a new track has been released. Check out the Other Material section to download Dragonlord, inspired by one of the first RPGs ever created, Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest in Japan).

But most importantly, Binary Fury's next production is underway! This will be an artistic collaboration with Aerayelle Kelsheimer, a Portland-based artist and illustrator. Aerayelle will be writing and illustrating an original graphic novel, and Binary Fury will be producing a new album for the project. The theme will be the Christmas Truce of 1914, an extraordinary moment of humanity in one of mankind's darkest chapters, The Great War. The graphic novel and album will relate not only to the event but also to each other, and they will be released as a combined package.

The projected completion date is to be summer 2012, but stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for further updates.

Rise, Fall, and Fade released! - [ 01.10.10 ]

Binary Fury's newest album, Rise, Fall, and Fade has been released! Visit the music page to download the new material. This is the first full-length album to date, and reflects the continued musical and intellectual evolution of Binary Fury. The new album explores the immutability of time and mankind's reaction to it: despite our technical prowess and intellectual accomplishments, we are still forced to grapple with our own mortality. We strive to learn from the past and implement its wisdom, but we find ourselves no closer to ethical wisdom or social harmony. History bears a heavy, and sad, price.

In the upcoming weeks the album will be also available for purchase on the store page.

Also be on the lookout in the upcoming weeks for new remixes, and information about an animation project on which Binary Fury is working. Stay tuned!
